Why Boca Code?

I chose Boca Code for its welcoming and inclusive culture, experienced instructors and staff, and well-designed curriculum with a hands-on approach and small class sizes. The community celebrated diversity, encouraged collaboration, and emphasized professionalism, teamwork, and continuous learning. The instructors were accessible and provided one-on-one assistance. At the same time, the curriculum covered essential skills and technologies needed to be a successful full-stack developer with practical projects and assignments.

What are some of the important skills for success in your field?

In software development, highly sought and essential skills that will allow one to thrive in the field include: Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Proficiency in programming languages and technologies. The ability to write clean and organized code. And most importantly, effective communication and the ability to work well in a team!

What inspired you to pursue your current career path?

As a former chemist, I developed an interest in data analysis and software tools for scientific research. I started exploring programming languages and enjoyed the problem-solving and logical thinking required for software development. I'm enthusiastic about combining my scientific background and software development skills to solve complex problems and create innovative solutions.
